Process Engineer Internship

During my internship within the Operations Department of Plant 5 at PT Pupuk Kalimantan Timur, my key responsibilities included:
- Conducted a detailed performance evaluation of the urea granulation unit, focusing on its direct impact on final product quality, specifically moisture and biuret content.
- Applied material balance principles to meticulously quantify and analyze the streams within the granulation loop, including urea melt, recycle fines, and water addition, to create an accurate process model.
- Analyzed the correlation between critical operating parameters (e.g., granulator bed temperature, melt concentration, residence time) and the resulting product quality to identify the root causes of deviations from specifications.
- Developed a set of technical recommendations to optimize operating conditions, aiming to minimize biuret formation and precisely control moisture content in the final urea granules.
- Collaborated with senior process engineers and plant operators to gather operational data, validate findings, and understand practical process constraints.
- Compiled and presented a comprehensive technical report detailing the material balance calculations, data analysis, and actionable strategies for process improvement and quality assurance to the engineering department.

As a staff member of the Social Affairs Department, I was responsible for developing and executing a variety of events aimed at strengthening our connection with the community. I spearheaded a key outreach initiative by organizing and managing a volunteer program to provide Quranic teaching for children at a local orphanage. In addition to external outreach, I also directed on-campus activities, most notably our annual Ramadan festival. This major event, centered at the Al-Fatih Mosque (ITK), included hosting various competitions designed to increase student engagement and foster a vibrant, spiritual atmosphere during the holy month.

Equipment Division Staff and Production Team
KM ITK (Dies Natalis 8 ITK) • Organisasi
The 8th Anniversary of the Kalimantan Institute of Technology (ITK) was a major celebration comprised of a series of events, each managed by a different division. One of the main events was an inspirational talk show held in November, where I served as a staff member. This series of celebrations culminated in a spectacular Grand Night. Within this committee structure, I held a dual role: I was fully involved in the planning and execution of the Talk Show Division in November, while also serving as a member of the production and equipment team that ensured the technical success of the Grand Night.
