I have gained hands-on experience through the MSIB 6 Independent Study Program, focusing on production planning, machining, and technical analysis. I am skilled in operating various machines, conducting inspections, and understanding industrial production workflows. My technical competencies include Shielded Metal Arc Welding (SMAW) in 3G position, welding inspection, and basic knowledge of Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) methods. I am also equipped with strong teamwork, communication, and analytical abilities. I am eager to apply my knowledge and skills to contribute to equipment reliability, operational support, preventive maintenance, and quality assurance within the Operation and Maintenance division.

During my MSIB 6 program at Neosia Training Center, I gained hands-on experience in the fields of CAD/CAM/CAE, machining, product design, and manufacturing. The program focused heavily on project-based learning, where I applied technical skills using industry-standard software like SolidWorks and ANSYS. I learned how to design, simulate, and optimize mechanical components while understanding the full production workflow.
What made this experience truly valuable was the balance between technical and soft skills. I collaborated with diverse teams, improved my communication, and got used to working under deadlines—skills essential in the real industry. One of the most memorable parts was creating a functional production tool prototype, which required both technical accuracy and creativity.
This program not only boosted my confidence and skills but also gave me a clearer vision of my career path in mechanical engineering and manufacturing. It was a transformative journey that helped shape me into a more capable and industry-ready professional.

1. Prepare Workplace
- Competent in preparing a safe and efficient welding environment.
- Familiar with workshop layout, tool inspection, material preparation, and hazard identification.
- Consistently applies Occupational Health and Safety (OHS/K3) standards before and during welding operations.
- Ensures all equipment (welding machine, electrodes, PPE) is properly set up and in optimal working condition.
2. Improve Welding Products
- inspected welds visually to detect surface defects such as cracks, porosity, or incomplete fusion.
- Performed basic corrective actions to improve weld quality, including re-welding and surface treatment.
- Applied quality control procedures aligned with industrial standards for structural integrity and aesthetics.
3. Produce Welded Joint (Groove) According to WPS
- Executed groove welds (plate-to-plate) in the 3G position according to WPS requirements.
- Selected appropriate electrodes and welding parameters (amperage, polarity, travel speed) for consistent results.
- Maintained weld quality and bead appearance while preventing common welding defects in vertical welding.
