Melvin Austin Korwa
I’m an undergraduate Information Systems student at Gunadarma University and a Cloud Computing graduate at Bangkit Academy (2024), with a passion for web development. My journey began as a self-taught programmer, and since then, I’ve been learning and growing through various projects, with a special focus on Frontend Development. Over time, I’ve expanded into Full-Stack Development and am now deepening my skills in backend technologies and cloud services. <br /> <br /> Driven by continuous learning and a curiosity for new technologies, I’m always looking for opportunities to take on new challenges and grow as a developer.

▪ Developed a capstone project, Toursantara, an integrated vacation trip planning app aimed at simplifying travel planning. Utilized technologies including JavaScript, Node.js, Docker, Python, and Kotlin, merging elements from Machine Learning, Mobile Development, and Cloud Computing.
▪ Built the back-end, including the server and database for managing destination places & users, and integrated it with Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
▪ Designed and implemented REST APIs using Hapi.js to facilitate seamless communication between app components.
▪ Deployed the application using Docker, setting up containers and utilizing GCP Cloud Run for efficient cloud deployment.
▪ Assisted in creating comprehensive API documentation to support project maintenance and scalability.
