2nd Place Winner in Chemical Plant Design Competition in DERRICK

DERRICK is an Annual Oil and Gas Intellectual Competition which is held by PEM AKAMIGAS. Lead the design of a biofuel plant for this competition that produces gasoline, jet fuel, and diesel from waste biomass. To design the biofuel plant, I simulated the entire process with Aspen Plus V11, and to minimize and analyze the amount of energy used in the process, I used Aspen Plus Energy Analyzer.

3rd Place Winner in Corrosion Handling Competition in ICW

Indonesian Corrosion Week (ICW) is an important event organized by INDOCOR ITS SC. A key objective of the Indonesian Corrosion Association is to support development in Indonesia by developing highly skilled human resources and mastering corrosion prevention technologies. Using Aspen Hysys V11, I simulated and evaluated the CO2 corrosion rate in the pipe with the application of a corrosion inhibitor to reduce the rate of corrosion. The problem case is provided by the Indonesia Corrosion Association.

Indonesia Chemical Engineering Challenge (IChEC) is an international competition organized by the ITB Chemical Engineering Student Association (HIMATEK-ITB) in collaboration with the ITB Chemical Engineering Study Program in the area of Chemical Engineering throughout Southeast Asia. In response to the problem provided by PT Kilang Pertamina International, I developed a pretreatment process utilizing used cooking oil (UCO) as a feedstock for the production of green-diesel and simulated it in Aspen Plus & Hysys.
