1. Measured the activity of mannanase and pectinase on konjac substrate using the DNS method.
2. Determined the protein concentration of mannanase and pectinase with a microplate reader.
3. Conducted hydrolysis on konjac substrate using HPLC, with a COSMOSIL Sugar- D column, analyzing sugar composition over varied
enzyme ratios. Results indicated optimal glucose production at a 1:1 enzyme ratio after 3 hours, confirming enzyme compatibility and
hydrolysis efficiency.

1. Successfully synthesized Sodium Methyl Ester Sulfonate (SMES) from CPO- based methyl ester with a neutral pH of 7.10, achieving
optimal sulfonation conditions at 65°C for 1.5 hours using instruments including condenser, pH meter, and vacuum adaptor.
2. Conducted comprehensive surfactant quality analysis achieving 29.6% active ingredient content through Jose Lopez titration method,
verified sulfonate group presence using FTIR spectroscopy.
3. Optimized SMES concentration for Enhanced Oil Recovery (EOR) applications, testing ultra- low interfacial tension (IFT) using
spinning drop tensiometer and densitimeter for analysis
