During my 3-month internship at Gas Sourcing Management Function Pertamina Gas, I successfully completed a feasibility study related to the establishment of an LPG plant that focuses on the process by comparing JT-Valve and Turbo Expander technologies (with a cryogenic process) and analyzing consumer targets in the area. I was also assigned to conduct a plant visit at the Bitung Gas Compressor Station to understand the process and analyze the implementation of LNG filling and its maintenance so that it can be used for company evaluation. I successfully identified problems that occurred along the gas pipeline and provided suggestions or recommendations to the company to improve performance.

As a process engineer intern at PPIC Departement PT LCTN, I learn the entire HDPE and LLDPE production process including the existing unit and facilities. I successfully performed the heat exchanger evaluation calculation and calculated the fouling factor using Microsoft Excel, Aspen Hysys, and Aspen EDR. This heat exchanger functions as a reactor coolant in the main polymerization process. Beside that, I ensure the reactor operates efficiently by determining the cooling margin between the secondary cooler and the plate-and-frame heat exchanger (as a supplier of cooling water from sea water) by using Aspen HYSYS. Also provide advance advice or recommendation to the company to improve the performance of heat exchanger.

As a result, I successfully attracted more than 45 participating teams and collaborated with 3 expert judges specializing in project management. I also designed an objective and transparent scoring system to ensure fair competition outcomes. Additionally, I was in charge of content planning and delivering the final presentation via Zoom, which resulted in a 90.9% satisfaction rate based on feedback collected from the finalists.

Through 10+ formal meetings and continuous negotiation, I built partnerships with 50+ platforms, foundations, cafes, and organizations. To maximize engagement, I also designed and executed a marketing strategy through 20+ roadshows to universities and high schools, resulting in an 84% participation rate.

Corrosion Handling Competition is a Study Case Competition held by the Indonesian Corrosion Association ITS Student Chapter at a national level. The study case in this competition is an innovation in solving the problem of equipment that is quickly corroded in the oil and gas industry. My team and I created an innovation to overcome corrosion in heat exchangers which are one of the main equipment in the industry using the integration of penicillin and Zn-Al coatings.
