Team Member – Ecotourism Field Practice Program (Vegetation Analysis)

As a team member in vegetation analysis group at Mount Ciremai National Park, participated in a field research project focused on assessing both the biotic components and ecotourism potential within the park. Our tasks included identifying plant species, evaluating vegetation patterns, and analyzing their relationship to the surrounding ecosystem. In addition, we examined tourism related components such as accessibility, visitor flow, and the integration of natural resources into sustainable tourism strategies. As part of the project, we contributed to the development of a tourism resource distribution map to visualize key ecotourism assets across the park. This experience enhanced my skills in ecological observation, spatial mapping, and interdisciplinary collaboration in conservation focused initiatives.

I participated in ecotourism field practicum at Mount Gede National Park, where i was involved in multidisciplinary biodiversity observation and analysis. The activities included vegetation analysis, herpetofauna identification (amphibians and reptiles), butterfly monitoring, as well as mammal and dragonfly observation. Each component focused on understanding species diversity, behavior, and ecological roles within the national park’s ecosystem. The fieldwork aimed to support ecotourism development through data based conservation and environmental education efforts.
