Designed and executed an integrated NDVI-based vegetation monitoring project on nickel mining reclamation sites as a formal response to Surat Edaran No. 9.E/MB.07/DBT.PL/2023 by the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources (ESDM), requiring spatial database integration for planning, implementation, and reporting of mine reclamation.
Combined Sentinel-2 imagery, DJI Mavic 3 Multispectral drone data, and vegetation plot measurements processed via Google Earth Engine, ArcGIS, Agisoft Metashape, and Excel to analyze vegetation growth trends and strengthen monitoring metrics.
Ensured full alignment with major regulatory frameworks including UU No. 32/2009, Permenhut No. P.60/Menhut-II/2009, and Kepmen ESDM No.1827/2018 on Good Mining Practices. Project outputs supported policy design and regulatory reporting, and were prepared for official correspondence with ESDM and scientific publication in the field of environmental sustainability and good mining practices, serving as an environmental innovation in the mining sector specifically developed for submission to PROPER 2025.
Developed a cost-efficiency strategy (~IDR 550 million/year) by replacing imported Bermuda grass with locally adapted species. Designed and executed propagation trials, documented field success, and developed technical materials for submission to PROPER 2025 and patent registration with BRIN.

The project successfully reduced the Thermal Humidity Index (THI) from 25–29°C to 22–26°C, enabled an estimated heat absorption of 4.28 million kJ/m² over 10 years, and developed 34.3 hectares of green open space across three zones, delivering environmental, economic, and social benefits.
