This industrial visit is part of the students' development of insight and knowledge into the world of work, particularly in the fields of research and technological innovation. During the visit to BRIN (National Research and Innovation Agency), participants were given an explanation of BRIN's role and function as a national research center and how research and technological development are carried out within the government.

Participants also had the opportunity to directly observe laboratory facilities and research centers and discuss innovative projects currently under development with researchers. Through this activity, participants are expected to gain a deeper understanding of the world of research, the importance of innovation, and develop an interest in careers in research and technology.

The industrial visit to ITDRI (Indonesia Telecommunication & Digital Research Institute) is a field learning activity that provides students with insight into the development of digital research and innovation in Indonesia, particularly in the telecommunications and information technology sectors.

During this visit, participants were introduced to ITDRI's role as a research and development center owned by the Telkom Group, supporting national digital transformation. Participants also received presentations on flagship research projects, digital talent development, and ongoing technology innovation programs.

The industrial visit to PT PINS (PINS Indonesia), a subsidiary of the Telkom Group, aimed to provide participants with first-hand insight into the digital industry and IoT (Internet of Things) solutions in Indonesia.

During the event, participants received an overview of the company profile, PT PINS's core services in digital technology, and its crucial role in supporting national digital transformation. They were also exposed to the work processes, the technology used, and the career opportunities available in the industry.

Through this visit, participants were expected to understand the direct application of the knowledge they have learned in college and broaden their perspectives on the world of work, particularly in the technology and telecommunications sectors.

Teachers covered topics such as networking, IP addressing, routing and switching, basic network security, and network device management. During the training, participants also engaged in hands-on practice using simulations and relevant Cisco devices. I understand modern network infrastructure and am able to implement small- to medium-scale network solutions, which is a crucial foundation for a career in networking and telecommunications.
