As part of my final project, I conducted research in the Kamojang geothermal field with a focus on the SMB-100
well targeting the Mount Cakra rim structure. This research integrated various data such as petrographic analysis
(thin section), XRD mineralogy, drilling parameters (penetration rate and drilling break), and pressure and
temperature (P-T) profiles. I also interpreted well trajectories to understand the relationship between geological
structure and reservoir potential. All these analyses were summarised in a volcanostratigraphic study and
geothermal system evaluation, which aimed to identify permeable zones and support further exploration strategies
in the area.

During my internship at BBPTK, I was involved in a geotechnical investigation project aimed at identifying
landslide-prone zones in the Hargomulyo area, Kokap sub-district, Kulon Progo Regency, Yogyakarta. I applied
field methods such as scanline mapping and the Schmidt hammer test to acquire Uniaxial Compressive Strength
(UCS) data from various rock units. These data were then analyzed to model the spatial distribution of slope
stability and assess potential landslide hazards. Through this project, I gained hands-on experience in conducting
field surveys, managing and processing geological-geotechnical data, and contributing to the development of risk
mitigation strategies. This internship deepened my understanding of the geological characteristics of the study area
and emphasized the critical role of scientific approaches in natural disaster mitigation to safeguard communities.

I participated in a specialized internship program organized by AILIMA with a focus on Applied Data
Management, Analysis, Modeling, and Machine Learning for Sustainable Geothermal Energy Development.
Throughout the program, I gained a strong foundation in geothermal science and engineering, followed by handson
experience in managing and analyzing geothermal datasets. The internship covered critical aspects such as
prospect evaluation and well targeting, wellbore flow simulation, and performance analysis of drilling operations. I
applied data-driven methods to support geothermal system modeling, including machine learning-based
approaches for enhancing resource prediction and optimization. This experience enriched my technical skills and
provided a systems-level understanding of how integrated data analysis supports sustainable geothermal energy
development.
