As an Assistant Procurement at PT SEPCOIII Electric Power Construction Co., I was responsible for supporting the procurement process by handling purchase requests, preparing Purchase Orders, and maintaining accurate procurement documentation. I reviewed item specifications, verified purchase requirements, and coordinated with suppliers to obtain competitive quotations. I also conducted price and product comparisons, performed initial price negotiations, and ensured that procurement activities adhered to company policies.
I managed and organized procurement documents such as purchase requests, quotations, Purchase Orders, delivery notes, invoices, and payment records, both in digital and physical formats. Additionally, I was involved in tracking the status of ongoing orders, following up on delivery schedules, and confirming the receipt of goods with the warehouse and related departments.
This position required close collaboration with internal departments to clarify procurement needs, resolve supplier issues, and support smooth operational processes. I contributed to updating the supplier database, assisted in tender processes, and regularly prepared procurement progress reports for management review.
Throughout this role, I developed strong administrative, communication, and vendor coordination skills. Working in a fast-paced environment taught me the importance of accuracy, time management, problem-solving, and adaptability.
