Saya adalah mahasiswa Rekayasa Pertanian ITB yang memiliki ketertarikan pada isu keberlanjutan, energi terbarukan, dan pemberdayaan pemuda. Perjalanan akademik saya mempertemukan saya dengan beragam pengalaman, mulai dari riset tentang pemanfaatan rumput laut sebagai pakan ternak untuk mengurangi emisi metana, hingga keterlibatan dalam proyek biogas berbasis limbah kopi dan peternakan. Melalui magang di PT Pupuk Indonesia, saya juga berkesempatan memahami lebih dalam strategi dekarbonisasi industri dan pentingnya transisi menuju ekonomi hijau.<br /> <br /> Saya percaya bahwa ilmu pengetahuan harus hadir sebagai solusi nyata, bukan sekadar konsep. Karena itu, visi pribadi saya adalah menjadi jembatan antara sains, kebijakan, dan masyarakat, khususnya dalam bidang pertanian berkelanjutan dan transisi energi. Saya ingin menghadirkan inovasi hijau yang tidak hanya bermanfaat bagi lingkungan, tetapi juga inklusif, dapat diakses oleh komunitas lokal, dan mendukung kemandirian mereka.<br /> <br /> Misi karir saya berfokus pada tiga hal: pertama, mengembangkan riset aplikatif yang mendorong praktik pertanian rendah emisi; kedua, menciptakan ruang kolaborasi lintas disiplin untuk menghubungkan peneliti, pembuat kebijakan, dan masyarakat; ketiga, mendorong keterlibatan pemuda dalam isu iklim dan pembangunan berkelanjutan.<br /> <br /> Saya percaya setiap langkah kecil baik dalam riset, advokasi, maupun komunitas akan berkontribusi pada perubahan besar.

PT Pupuk Indonesia (Persero) Magang

During my internship at PT Pupuk Indonesia, I was actively involved in supporting the company’s strategic transition towards sustainability. My main responsibility was to assist the corporate team in developing and analyzing the company’s decarbonization roadmap, a crucial document that outlines emission reduction targets, timelines, and action plans across different subsidiaries. This work required me to review internal operational data, benchmark against global fertilizer industry practices, and identify feasible technological pathways to achieve carbon neutrality in the long term. In addition, I contributed to drafting technical and policy-oriented reports on green technologies and their applicability to the fertilizer industry, such as carbon capture, renewable-based ammonia production, and energy efficiency measures. I was also assigned to analyze emission reduction goals by comparing company strategies with Indonesia’s national commitments under the Paris Agreement and relevant regulations. This process sharpened my ability to link corporate sustainability initiatives with both domestic and international climate policy frameworks. Furthermore, I provided assistance in compiling references and insights related to carbon trading mechanisms, including voluntary and compliance markets, potential revenue streams from carbon credits, and regulatory requirements for participation.

1st Place - ITB InMove (Renewable Energy Category)

I was awarded First Place at the ITB InMove 2024 competition in the Renewable Energy category for a scientific paper titled “Pemanfaatan Limbah Biomassa TKKS, Bagas dan Jerami Padi sebagai Bahan Baku PLTBm dengan Proses Pembakaran.” The competition brought together students from various universities across Indonesia to present innovative solutions in the field of energy transition and sustainability.

In this project, I analyzed the potential of oil palm empty fruit bunches (EFB), bagasse, and rice straw as biomass feedstocks for biomass power plants (PLTBm). The research covered aspects of energy content, combustion process efficiency, and environmental benefits in reducing fossil fuel dependence. My team and I successfully demonstrated that agricultural and plantation waste can serve as reliable renewable energy resources, aligning with Indonesia’s commitment to sustainable development and emission reduction.

This achievement not only validated the scientific merit of our research but also strengthened my passion for renewable energy innovation and interdisciplinary collaboration. It provided me with valuable experience in scientific writing, data analysis, and public presentation, as well as building confidence to contribute to larger-scale renewable energy initiatives in the future.
