At the PT Bio Farma microbiology laboratory, I conducted research focused on analyzing the comparative effectiveness of various types of probiotics in inhibiting the growth of Salmonella Typhimurium. My work included isolating and identifying probiotic microorganisms, testing their antibacterial activity using the agar diffusion method and measuring inhibition zones, and analyzing the results to determine the most effective probiotic strain. I also contributed to developing and standardizing testing methods to ensure the validity and accuracy of the data. Through this experience, I gained expertise in key microbiology techniques, scientific data processing, and a deep understanding of the role of probiotics in human health applications.

At the PT Pupuk Kujang chemical analysis laboratory, I conducted an internship focused on evaluating the effectiveness of biofertilizers on soil quality. My research involved a comparative analysis of different biofertilizer formulations and their impact on key soil parameters, including nutrient content (N, P, K), pH, and microbial activity.
I was responsible for preparing soil and fertilizer samples, conducting chemical and microbiological analyses using techniques such as spectrophotometry and atomic absorption spectroscopy, and interpreting the resulting data to assess the performance of each biofertilizer. I also contributed to refining laboratory protocols to ensure accuracy and reproducibility. This experience has given me a strong foundation in analytical chemistry, soil science, and sustainable agricultural practices.
