TThe Retail Business Development Program is a certified internship designed for university students who are eager to explore the banking retail industry. Organized by Bank Mandiri, this program offers structured learning under the Retail Banking Directorate, covering business segments such as Micro Banking, SME, Consumer Loans, Credit, Retail Deposit, and Wealth Management.
I was selected as 1 of only 130 interns out of 16,194 applicants nationwide to join Batch 7 of the MSIB (Magang dan Studi Independen Bersertifikat) Program, placed at PT Bank Mandiri (Persero) Tbk. During the internship, I was assigned to the Micro Development and Agent Banking division, where I gained hands-on experience in developing micro banking strategies and supporting the optimization of agent banking services (Mandiri Agen).
Under the guidance of experienced mentors and professionals, I enhanced my understanding of financial inclusion, customer behavior in micro segments, and the strategic role of agent networks in expanding access to banking services. This experience significantly sharpened my analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills, and deepened my long-term interest in the financial services sector.

The certification was issued in Tangerang on December 1, 2024, and is valid for a period of three years.

Second Place KOMITMEN National Essay Competition 2024

Ahmad Farid Ma’hudin was awarded 2nd place in the KOMITMEN 2024 National Essay Competition, organized by the Faculty of Fisheries and Marine Sciences, Universitas Padjadjaran. The competition aimed to foster environmental awareness and sustainable innovation among youth.
In his essay, titled "EcoTravel: Smart Visitor Management for Sustainable Coastal Tourism", I proposed an innovative solution to address the issue of overcapacity and environmental degradation at beach destinations. His idea focused on implementing a visitor capacity restriction system, integrating technology and ecological planning to prevent damage to coastal ecosystems caused by overcrowding.
By combining environmental conservation with responsible tourism practices, the EcoTravel concept aims to protect coastal areas while maintaining a positive experience for travelers. This achievement reflects Ahmad's strong commitment to sustainability, innovation, and practical problem-solving in addressing real-world ecological challenges.

Ahmad Farid Mahudin from Universitas Airlangga was selected as a participant in the 2023 Student Entrepreneurship Development Program (P2MW), organized by the Ministry of Education, Culture, Research, and Technology of Indonesia. He participated under the Growth Stage in the Services and Trade category.
Through this program, he developed a business project titled "IKANin", a service-based venture providing freshwater fish farming media supported by a Supply Chain Development System. The business aims to enhance efficiency, accessibility, and sustainability within the aquaculture sector.
As part of the program, Ahmad received business development funding to support the growth of "IKANin". This opportunity allowed him to strengthen key entrepreneurial skills such as business planning, innovation, strategic development, and market analysis. His participation reflects a strong commitment to empowering the aquaculture industry through practical and scalable solutions.

3rd Place Business Plan COmpetition

I have won 3rd place in the Business Plan Competition held by Institut Agama Islam Tazkia in Bogor, during the "Days of Islamic Economics Revival" event on March 17–18, 2023. The competition carried the theme "Ekonomi Halal Go-Digital" (Halal Economy Goes Digital), encouraging innovative, Sharia-compliant, and tech-integrated business ideas.
Farid presented his business project “EsKRIMMU”, a unique venture producing herbal-based ice cream made from traditional jamu ingredients. The concept promotes health, supports local wisdom, and introduces a modern, marketable twist to Indonesia’s traditional herbal drinks. His idea was recognized for its creativity, relevance to the halal economy, and digital development potential. This achievement demonstrates his ability to integrate local culture, health values, and entrepreneurship into a feasible business model.

Ahmad Farid Ma'hudin was selected as a participant in the Airlangga Young Entrepreneur Program, a university-level initiative by Universitas Airlangga aimed at fostering entrepreneurial spirit and innovation among students. Through this program, he developed a unique business project named “EsKRIMMU”, which offers herbal-based ice cream made from traditional Indonesian jamu ingredients. The business promotes local wisdom by combining modern dessert trends with the health benefits of traditional herbal medicine.
As part of the program, Farid received business development funding to help scale and commercialize his product. His participation provided valuable experience in product innovation, branding, customer engagement, and sustainable business development. The program also served as a platform to enhance his entrepreneurial mindset and to contribute to the revitalization of Indonesia’s traditional herbal heritage in a creative and marketable way.
