This program aims to improve the productivity of CV. Cahya Interior Decoration (CID) This program focuses on the design and implementation of a High Pressure Laminate (HPL) coating machine based on Flexible Spring Press (FLEXIS) technology to increase productivity at CV. Cahya Interior Decoration (CID). The company faced challenges in meeting demand due to inefficiencies in manual HPL coating, which took 40 minutes per product and resulted in an average of 15 defective units per month, causing a monthly loss of IDR 1.3 million. The FLEXIS machine was developed using a roll press system integrated with a flexible spring to automatically regulate pressure during the coating process. The machine was fabricated using hollow iron and equipped with components such as bearings, a 0.5 HP motor, and a gearbox. Testing showed that the machine could reach a maximum pressure of 404 MPa with a safety factor of 3.3. The implementation of the machine successfully reduced coating time per product from 40 minutes to 6 minutes, increased daily production capacity from 3 to 4 units, and reduced the defect rate to zero. As a result, CID's monthly revenue increased by 55.9%, from IDR 156,000,000 to IDR 204,500,000.
