The Supervision and Enforcement Division consists of several sections, including:

2. Shipworthiness Supervision Section, has the task of to inspect and store letters, documents, and ship's chart, to inspect the seaworthiness and safety of Indonesian-flagged ships, and to inspect the seaworthiness and safety of Indonesian-flagged ships inspection of the seaworthiness and safety of foreign vessels, issuance of approval for ship activities at the port and sailing approval letters.
3. Patrol and Enforcement Section, has the task of conducting supervision, investigation and law enforcement in the field of water transportation, port, and protection of the maritime environment at the port, detention of ships by court order, implementation of search and rescue assistance, control and coordination of pollution prevention and blackout pollution control and fire fighting at the port, preliminary examination of ship accidents, supervision of loading and unloading activities in port waters, salvage and work of the ship port waters, salvage and underwater works, orderly ship traffic in port waters and shipping lanes, guiding and delaying ships.
