Job Overview:

Breeding Farm Production Intern PT Berdikari will support the Poultry Production Division in managing breeding operations within poultry farms. The role focuses on Grand Parent (GP) & Parent Stock (PS), including data monitoring, biosecurity implementation, and performance analysis. This internship is ideal for students passionate about poultry, animal breeding, and modern poultry production systems.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in daily breeding operations, including monitoring egg production, fertility rates, and hatchability performance.

• Support the collection and analysis of breeding performance data, including body weight, feed conversion ratio (FCR), and laying percentage.

• Participate in the implementation of biosecurity protocols and animal welfare standards.

• Assist in health monitoring, vaccination programs, and genetic performance tracking under supervision.

• Maintain accurate records of breeding operations, mortality, and production performance for reporting.

• Collaborate with the breeding team to identify improvements in breeding efficiency and genetic quality.

• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly operational reports on poultry breeding performance.

• Support quality assurance activities to ensure compliance with company SOPs and breeding program objectives.

Qualifications:

• Currently pursuing or recently graduated with a degree in Animal Science, Veterinary Medicine, Poultry Science, or a related field.

• Strong interest in poultry breeding, and farm management.

• Basic understanding of breeding techniques and poultry production systems.

• Good analytical and problem-solving skills, especially in handling production data.

• Willingness to work in farm environments and comply with biosecurity protocols.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) for data recording and reporting.

• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
