As a intern, I take part in the following activities:
• Conducted in-depth observations on business operations and pharmaceutical production processes to analyze their environmental impact using the Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) method.
• Collected, compiled, and analyzed data from 30 batches of production reports, ensuring an accurate assessment of resource consumption, waste generation, and emissions throughout the production cycle.
• Identified key environmental impact factors in the production process, including carbon footprint, acidification, eutrophication, and particulate matter, using LCA-based impact assessment tools.
• Developed a comprehensive report detailing findings and recommendations for process optimization, focusing on improving resource efficiency and reducing environmental impact.
• Proposed and successfully formulated a set of production improvements, leading to an overall 13% reduction in environmental impact including lower emissions.
