Explore Industry Visit (EXIT) ITB 2024 • Organisasi

EXIT is is a committee organization under HMK AMISCA ITB which organizes industrial visits to PT. Paragon Innovation and Technology.
• Responsible for making budget plan and managing the industrial visit event budget,
ensuring efficient and transparent use of funds
• Coordinating the collection of funds from participants and sponsors, as well as managing payments for event needs such as transportation, consumption and souvenirs.
• Prepare complete financial reports after event, including details of expenses and income
• Collaborate with other teams to ensure all financial needs of the event are met according to schedule, which supports the success of the event with 50 participants

PT. Alkindo Mitra Raya is a company engaged in manufacturing the chemical industry, especially polymers or resins, either organic solvent base (acrylic, alkyd) or water base as the solvent. I had the opportunity to intern at RnD which was responsible for creating an additive material formula in the form of a superplasticizer polycarboxylate polymwe which is added to cement mixtures to increase the fluidity of cement particles.
• Selection of raw materials in the form of macromonomers, monomers, initiators, chain transfer agents which are adjusted to company standards
• Create a synthesis workflow diagram starting from dropping material, temperature setting, synthesis process, material checking, and termination
• Check material properties for indicators such as non-volatile (NV), acid number (AV), appearance, viscosity, and pH
• Slump test with a comparison of cement, sand, water and water superplasticizer materials has been determined for synthetic materials, then compared with commercial superplasticizers
• Characterization of superplasticizer materials using FTIR instruments for functional group analysis, GPC to determine molecular weight, and DSC to determine the melting point or glass temperature
• Interpretation and analysis of data using software such as Origin

OKTAN ITB is committee under HMK AMISCA ITB which organizes national level chemistry competitions for high school and university students.
• Coordinate with 5 staffs in preparing work programs, allocating licensing tasks related to theuse of property and event permit
• Study and implement strategies to obtain permits required for organizational activities
• Collaborate with other divisions to ensure the success of all programs requiring permits
• Maintain positive communication with external parties, including stakeholders to ensure all activities obtain valid permits
• Supervise the preparation of licensing documents and ensure completeness and accuracy of the information submitted
• Monitor developments in regulations and policies related to licensing, and update standard operational procedures in accordance with these changes
