AHMAD IRSYAL
Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering graduate from the University of Bengkulu with a GPA of 3.42/4.00. Gained internship experience at PT Semen Padang (Persero) Tbk in the Engineering Department and at the National Research and Innovation Agency (BRIN) at the Center for Smart Mechatronics Research. Actively participated in various academic and student research projects, served as a Laboratory Assistant in the Energy Conversion Laboratory, and was actively involved in the Mechanical Engineering Student Association, including serving as Head of the Leadership Knowledge Development Division. During university, engaged in various student activities that enhanced teamwork, public speaking, decision making, and leadership skills. With my academic and organizational background, I have a strong interest in the field of Mechanical Engineering, but I remain open to pursuing a career in other fields, with a continuous passion for learning and growth.

• Managed administrative tasks including correspondence, practicum reports, equipment SOPs, and submitted reports to the laboratory coordinator.
• Acted as a liaison between the laboratory and internal campus stakeholders.
• Handled equipment loan and return forms for students and faculty.
• Provided necessary data and documentation to support faculty and student research activities in the laboratory.
Laboratory Assistant
• Performed preventive and corrective maintenance on laboratory equipment such as wind tunnels, impact of jet apparatus, screw turbines, centrifugal pumps, and gasoline engines.
• Ensured measurement tools such as vernier calipers, pressure/vacuum gauges, flowmeters, and thermometers were in optimal condition for practicum sessions.
• Designed practicum materials and instructed 65 students on equipment operation and laboratory procedures.
Practicum Coordinator
• Preparing the practicum schedule and designing modules in accordance with the curriculum in collaboration with lecturers.
• Coordinating task distribution and conducting training to ensure assistants understand the material before the practicum begins.
• Supervising the implementation of the practicum and developing an assessment system for practicum reports.

I was involved in various engineering projects within industrial settings, such as calculating the dimensions and selecting materials for the shaft pulley, as well as analyzing shaft stress and deflection on the 6U1U03 belt conveyor with a capacity of 700 TPH in Department 471 Clinker, Indarung 6. I also conducted dynamic balancing analysis of a fan at the Electrical Instrument Workshop of PT Semen Padang, and analyzed headloss in the compressed air flow of a Kaishan compressor. In addition, I designed a portable dedusting system for bulk cement loading at the DST Wharf, analyzed the actual performance of solar panels at the Bagging Plant, and evaluated the cement loading process using Polysling onto ships at the Teluk Bayur Wharf.
